Project: Recreation for All

Purpose of Project: This project seeks to establish, promote and sustain an ongoing, organized group of individuals with developmental disabilities, college students, community recreation providers, and others to work to enhance opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to participate in typical community recreation activities alongside peers who have and who do not have disabilities. The goal is to support people with developmental disabilities in building long term friendships with their neighbors who share similar interests related to hobbies, sports, outdoor recreation, the arts, and/or other activities.
